Thought it was diwali

Seeing these light glow

From where I am standing right now

Reminds me of Diwali

The silence in the city;

The moon and the star, shining

Dogs barking out of nowhere

Frogs from Bush screaming, unseen

Maybe singing in delight, and who else 

knows

Far across, I see the lights 

Not one, but so many

Attracting my mind!

Pushing me for peaceful night

So, few minutes as I stand here

Thinking of what else I can feel

And so this is the end

The least I can explain
